What does the internet mean? What has been
presented for the growth of Islam by the internet? Where will the
internet direct us to? These questions are asked towards the new and
young Islamic webs. However, people still have firm faith in the
future of the internet in spite of its unpredictable changes.
We all realize the circumstances and situations
of today’s Muslims, Islam and Muslims both not only have a history
of hardship, but also have a reality of being misunderstood and
maliciously distorted by today’s media. Never
has a
belief or culture been so misunderstood like Islam, and never has a
community or nation been so distorted like Muslims.
Following the establishment of the institute and
the newspaper, considering that no other means of the current media
can match the internet in terms of speed, freshness and abundance,
Ligu Ma, the president of the institute was spurred to attempt to
clarify a true Islam to people of the world through establishing
website, trying to clear up people’s misunderstandings towards Islam
and Muslims, and to open up a window enabling us to learn more about
the world of Islam and Islam in the world.
www.kyaz.com is a public multifunctional large
website , where the institute is taken as a base, comprising Islamic
knowledge, news of the Islamic world, online education in Islamic
belief , introduction to Islamic belief ,etc.
Since its opening in November 2000, “Kaiyuan
institute of Arabic” has insisted on providing excellent online
services through offering Islamic information, which is in line
with the tendency of future growth of Islam and satisfies the needs
of the public, to the Muslims on line as well as the non-Muslims;
and offering the enlightening education in Islamic belief and
thought.
In October 2001, “Kaiyuan institute of Arabic”
presented the idea of constructing “Muslims family on the web”, and
then revised the edition by adding more specialized columns, such as
: “BBS of Cradle”, “News Centre”, and “Home of
Introduction-Marriage”, on top of the original existing columns.
Eventually, it became a specialized Islamic information service net
with unique advantages, introducing Islamic belief and life in all
respects with refreshing ideas. It was recognized and welcomed by
the public.
Today’s website of Kaiyuan institute of Arabic is
remarkable for its quantity and quality of articles and news, in
other words, it is a comprehensive Islamic website which comprises
Islamic basic knowledge, researches , essays ,etc.
Currently, our website has the following columns:
the Holy Koran, the Hadith, Islam, our institute, “Huizu” nation of
China, news centre, the world of feeling, campus magazine, home of
introduction-marriage, drug prohibition, middle east trade ,etc.

distinguished features of openness and cooperation, provides a
platform for Muslims and non-Muslims to discuss freely and sincerely
