In order to spread Islam rapidly in China, Kaiyuan institute of Arabic focuses on the training of  Islamic callers with vigour and excellence, and the cultivation of talented and well-rounded people , who adapt to the needs of the 21^st century social development. For this goal, we expect:

1.       Year 2001-2005

1. to train and assess the teachers during the vacation every year in order to improve the teaching quality.

2. to employ 1-2 personnel specialized in education administration so that the administration system of the institute can be improved.

3. to improve the quality of enrollment, by controlling the percentage of the senior secondary school graduates more than 90% of the enrollment.

4. to stabilize the number of the students around 200.

5. to expand the establishment of disciplines by adding religion, business and trade, translation ,etc.

6. the students to take part in social practices at least twice during their study in the institute.

7. to create cultural atmosphere in the institute carrying distinguished features of Kaiyuan institute of Arabic.

8. to improve the construction of the campus website, and increase the pages of the newspaper and its calculation.

2.       Year 2006-2010

1. to strengthen the troop of teachers by increasing the number of the teachers to around 30.

2. to employ 4-6 well-known scholars as guest professors.

3. to organize “Summer camp for Muslim university students” yearly.

4. to organize the translation of various Arabic books, and approach the publishers about the publication.

5. to spread the reputation of Kaiyuan institute of Arabic by heavy advertising.

6. to enhance the academic researches , and actively hold conferences on Islamic academic research.

7. to construct new campus, and attempt to offer online / correspondence teaching of religion knowledge and  Arabic courses in the north-eastern and south-eastern coastal regions.

8. to associate and co-operate with the outstanding schools of Arabic in the surrounding areas in order to establish a Muslim university of our own.

       If Allah wills, we shall, with our sincere intentions and realistic attitudes, high spirit of dedication and rich experience in teaching, and with all devout Muslims together, spend ten years time to build up Kaiyuan institute of Arabic until it become a unique and more specialized Islamic college in China,  a true cradle for fostering Islamic callers.

    为了伊斯兰在中国的迅速传播，开远阿专致力于培养充满活力、优秀的新一代伊斯兰宣教者，致力于培养适应二十一世纪社会发展需要的高素质穆斯林复合型人才。为此目标，我们设想：

一、2001——2005年
    1．每年假期对老师进行培训、考核，提高教学质量。
    2．聘请1—2名教育管理专业人员，完善学校管理机制。
    3．提高招生质量，招收高中毕业生占90%以上。
    4．使学生人数稳定在200人左右。
    5. 扩大专业设置，增设宗教、商贸、翻译等专业。
    6．在校期间，学生社会实践至少2次。
    7．培养学校文化氛围，形成开远阿专风格特色。
    8．完善校园网站建设，增加报纸版面及发行量。

二、2006——2010年
    1．强化教师队伍，使教师人数增加到30人左右。
    2．聘请4—6名知名学者担任客座教授。
    3．每年组织“穆斯林大学生夏令营”。
    4．组织翻译各种阿语书籍，并联系出版。
    5．加强宣传，扩大开远阿专社会知名度。
    6．加强学术研究，积极开办伊斯兰教学术研究会议 。
    7．建设新校区，尝试在东北和东南沿海进行宗教知识与阿语课程的网上教学和函授教学。
    8．与周边地区阿语学校强强连手，建设一所我们穆斯林自己的大学。
